Eudore Pierre Theriault

Eudore Pierre Theriault
(May 3, 1939 - September 22, 2011)




The death of Mr. Eudore Pierre Theriault, husband of Yvonne (Robichaud) Theriault, occurred unexpectedly on September 22, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Quentin on May 3, 1939, he was the son of the late Pierre and Jeanne (Richard) Theriault, and after her early death, his step-mother Marie (Belanger) Theriault.

Eudore was the founding Grand Knight of the Msgr. W. J. Osborne Council 6770, Knights of Columbus, as well as the Faithful Navigator of the Fr. Carl Hickey Assembly 1940, serving as Past Deputy and several positions in State Council. He worked for Irving for 27 years at the Johnson House and for 17 years at Workman’s Rehabilitation Centre. Eudore enjoyed volunteering to help others for various causes, as well as having a great passion for cooking.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Yvonne (Robichaud) and his daughter Therese, siblings Oneil (Monique) Theriault, Gracia Theriault, Alphonse (Georgette) Theriault, Solange (the late Donald) Levesque, Jean Yves Theriault, Jeannine (Claude) Houle, Jean Claude (Annette) Theriault, Francine (Claude) Babineau, Claudette (Mario). Gagnon Theriault, Pierrette (Marc) Berthelot and sisters-in-law Monique and Tina Theriault. Beside his parents and step-mother, he was predeceased by Florian, Paul, and Aime Theriault.

Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4, & 7-9 p.m. The Knights of Columbus Council 6770 will offer prayers on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Rose of Lima Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Following the interment, a Time of Fellowship will take place at the Assumption Centre.
Donations to the Cdn Cancer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.

Stephen Lord

LORD, STEPHEN GREGORY - The death of Stephen Gregory Lord, husband of Germaine (Comeau) Lord, occurred on May 24, 2011 at The Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saint John on March 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Gregory Lord and Marion (Toogood) Lord.
Besides his wife Germaine and mother, he is survived by
his daughters, Lisa (Lucien) Morand, and Julie Lord;
grandchildren, Christina, Joey (Amanda), Stephanie, Jackie;
great grandchild, Benjamin;
sibling Dennis (Sue), Theresa (Ralph) LeBlanc, Joanne (Hal) Billiard, Kenny, Susan (Hugh) MacEachern, Tina (Peter) Hooper, Chris (Kathy).
Stephen will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Stephen was predeceased by his father Gregory, and his brother James. Stephen was born and raised in Saint John, he graduated from St. Malachy’s High School, and St. Thomas University with honors in English.
Stephen worked as a reporter for the Times Globe and throughout Eastern Canada.
He worked at Centracare since 1982, and has been writing for the New Freeman for many years.
Stephen was a past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 8094, and was very active with the Adoration Society and the Right to Life Association.

Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Thursday May 26, from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday May 27, from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church. The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, a reception will be held at the Assumption Center sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The family would like to thank the palliative care ward at Saint John Regional Hospital and his co-workers at Centracare for all the compassion shown to Stephen.
Donations in Stephen's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Right to Life Association.

Annual General Meeting & Dinner June 2nd...


Saint John Right to Life Annual Dinner & Silent Auction


June 2nd @ 6:30 pm at St. Ann's Catholic Church.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Respect for Life Center during office hours. Please call the office to reserve a ticket.

Auction items can be dropped off at the Respect for Life Education Center (28-32 King Street) between 9-12 on the mornings of May 17, 24, & 31. Please call 657-3771 to arrange a time.

Feb 14th .. Love Life Chain NOON

Our next event is our
Annual Love Life Chain, Feb 14th at 12 o’clock in Kings Square, Saint John.

Please invite anyone you feel would be interested in joining us to come along.
If you or some person or group would like to speak about Loving Life, I encourage you to contact me.

Hot chocolate and treats will help everyone warm up afterwards in the
Respect for Life Education Centre.

If you have someone who needed to stay out of the cold but would enjoy being involved we can arrange for them to stay at the Centre.
