Job Opening: Executive Director

The New Brunswick Right to Life Association invites expressions of interest for the position of Executive Director. This full-time position will open in the summer of 2016.
The mission of New Brunswick Right to Life is to promote the sanctity of all human life from fertilization to natural death through public education. The association promotes life and love for all, without exception.
New Brunswick Right to Life is a registered charity. The organization consists of a provincial office in Fredericton, with a staff of four employees plus volunteers, and eight local chapters across the province.
A suitable candidate will possess these qualities:
– A heart for the pro-life cause
– Ability to present the pro-life cause persuasively to secular as well as religious audiences
– Aptitude for educating youth via schools, social media and other avenues
– Ability to collaboratively manage others, oversee projects, make sound decisions, work within deadlines, and multi-task at a high level
– Ability to think and act strategically, envision new possibilities, and respond creatively to new challenges
– Master’s level education or equivalent
The duties of the Executive Director include:
– Overseeing the Women’s Care Center (part-time staff of two) providing counselling and support to pregnant mothers
– Speaking to media representatives
– Managing educational resources including newsletter, websites, social media
– Directing / collaborating on fundraising initiatives so as to meet budget
Salary is commensurate with qualifications. Benefits include health and dental insurance.
